A Pleasant Evening in Victoria

Disembarking requires great patience.  Everyone onboard is anxious for something on shore, whether it’s some favorite food experience like a pizza parlor or a stretch of the legs that’s longer than 143 meters.  But it takes a bit of time for the customs agents to clear us when all of our passports and any cores or items waiting to be shipped are presented for inspection.

As you can see from this lovely photo, we finally made it off the ship and celebrated our transit with a fine afternoon and evening in Victoria.  This is a very nice city and we look forward to meeting many of you during port call events in September.  Unfortunately, we won’t be able to bring anyone aboard for tours before then (we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us), so we’ll keep you posted.

Enjoy!

Mike
