We are drilling, we are drilling...

Unfortunately we are not currently getting very good recovery, probably because of some loose sand layers. 

Things are being tried, and we will see.

Today we will arrive in Wellington - a brief stop to pick up some more fuel for the ship, and a chance for us to disembark for the last time before the end of the expedition.

For me, a chance to meet some of my New Zealand friends.

Hi all:  I'm one of the scientists on board this expedition of the JR.  This is my first time on a ship, except for the odd ride on a ferry!
