A new adventure is about to begin

After a few busy days in Ponta Delgada, that beyond the loading and refueling operations included tours of The JR for almost 200 students and teachers from 4 local High Schools, we are about to leave towards the first drilling site tomorrow morning.

The JR has a new flag

Yesterday afternoon before the Science Party, Technical Staff and Crew Members left the ship to go to Ponta Delgada for a few last minute shopping they had time to see the change of the ship's flag. The JR is now a Cyprus-flag ship.
