As part of IODP Expedition 341: South Alaska climate and tectonics on the JOIDES Resolution, we invite you to design a poster to showcase your knowledge of the legends of how mountains are formed and the natural processes that form them. Te Mata Peak in New Zealand and Mount Susitna in Alaska are the two case studies.  Entrants will use the resource kit below for research, although further study is suggested.
