Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!

During this Thanksgiving holiday the Expedition 339 participants continued working and preparing themselves to receive the first core on deck, but specially the ones that live in the US are grateful for many things: family, friends, and of course, food. While we continue underway to the "Shackleton site" Portuguese Camp Boss Alex Trota and his team of gifteds Filipino cooks have prepared a special luch that included the traditional turkey and some really nice desserts.

Hi Helder,
It looks like the galley crew did another fantastic job in presenting a Thanksgiving meal. I look forward to following your experiences over the next weeks. You'll have a wonderful experience working with the science crew and classrooms of students. Have a great expedition!
