One of the most interesting things about this expedition is learning about the different cultures of people from all over the world. There is a real mix of nationalities on board, Europeans, Americans, Japanese to name a few. I can now greet people in Japanese (but only in the morning) I know what a Reese’s Cup is (chocolate bar) and can convey a 1000 words with a single shrug just like my French colleagues!
