Finally, Expedition 355 after completion of its eight weeks of sediment and basement coring in the Laxmi Basin (Eastern Arabian Sea), we have started our journey to the land.

Just a few minutes ago (around 11PM IST) thrusters are up at the last site and we are on our way to Mumbai, India. Thanks to all the Science Party and Tech teams, it has been a memorable experience. We look forward to work on the wealth of geoscientific data generated during this expedition and contribute to improve our understanding about some of the fundamental issues in science. It has been amazing experience to sail on JR and I look forward to have another opportunity to join JR again for yet another expedition in future.
