No sleep for some tonight.  There is much more to JR drilling than making the hole in the sea floor. Tonight the drillers must make sure the hole is ready for it’s wall, called a casing, by flushing out loose rock from the more crumbly sides of the hole.

Not all are on the rig floor. Here scientists in the core lab are drawn to a computer that is acting up.

There is action around the mess hall tables and in the recreation center too. My friendly survival suits have called it a night though, and are back on the wall.
