Michelle is an educator, science communicator, and intrepid explorer. She has lived and worked in both polar environments (Canada, Alaska, and Antarctica), and is looking forward to joining this expedition to one of JOIDES' northernmost locations. She loves avocados, an epic mountain hike, a relaxing day at the beach, and ironically hates being cold.
