In 2006 I was accepted to the position of Research Specialist for IODP Tools and Analytical Services as a chemist. In October of 2008 I stayed with the JR at the Singapore dock. Since then I have sailed on Leg 320, or PEAT 1. Leg 323 to the Bering Sea is my second expedition.
Before joining the JR I have worked in private and university laboratories with many different types of analytical instrumentation. I have participated in soil research expeditions to Kamchatka, the White Sea and the Tian Shan regions.
I love science, and I love to travel. When I am not on the JR I am with my family. I am also the mother of three wonderful boys.
