Goodbye Bermuda, Hello Atlantic!

The JR left Bermuda promptly at 6:00 am on Monday morning. The microphones crackled as the captain announced “All aboard who’s coming aboard!” Sunday had been stormy and we were all worried that it would be a rainy departure. But as we made our way to the upper deck we felt the warm breeze and saw clear skies as the sun rose. The tug boats Faithful and Powerful escorted us from the dock. Then we rounded the corner past the historic Royal Naval Dockyard and out into the Atlantic! We are in transit now and should arrive about 90 miles off the coast of New Jersey within the next day. We are all hoping that the upcomming engeneering tests go well! More about the engeneering tests to come…
