Just for Fun!

From what I’ve heard, Easter was kind of a nonevent on the JR this year — a day of meetings and fire drills.

Because the ship’s manifest is filled with folks from all over the globe, many holidays from many religions are celebrated by many individuals.  I was fortunate to have Easter, Canada Day, and the Fourth of July (I ate five pieces of cake on the 4th) on board last year, and one of my Expedition 320 shipmates set up a little a Shinto shrine.  As Julie Pollard reported from the waters off New Zealand, Expedition 317 celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day at sea.

Try "It’s a Small World" for a fun activity about all the nations represented on the JR!
