Video Diary #4: Moon hole and blue mud

It’s time for another JR update for Expedition 366! In this video I’ll show you the moon pool, where the core pipe is lowered from the ship into the ocean, and some of our latest core samples–the bluest yet! We are still coring at the summit of Blue Moon seamount, but we are a whole day ahead of schedule (at least for now). Then we’ll be off to Big Blue, the next mud volcano we’ll tackle.
