What a Day!
Yesterday was a busy day on the ship. The scientists and ship technicians were packing boxes and moving them to other parts of the ship all day long. We also printed the logos on our tee-shirts during the late afternoon. (see photos) Some were printed on dark shirts while others were put on light colored shirts.
We also changed out time yesterday. Since we are getting closer to Auckland, New Zealand and we will be crossing the International Date Line, we skipped Thursday and set our clocks back one hour. So we went from Wednesday to Friday! Now our clocks are the same time as those in New Zealand.
And if this wasn’t enough, the seas were rough and it was very windy, just like today. We had some sun and some dark clouds yesterday, along with hail!
