After the afternoon spent at anchor just a short distance from Malé, after the port formalities and the necessary supplies, we are ready to resume our route to the first drilling site that we should reach during the night.

The first coring will arrive on the bridge in the late morning or early afternoon. Today the drilling staff has worked on the “rig floor”, climbed in the metallic structures of the derrickwhich still goes up to 60m, checked the drilling tubes etc …

Tonight we resumed our navigation after maneuvers all the more impressive that they were made at night, with just a small crescent moon to enlighten us.
