#Exp379 outreach officer and comic artist-at-sea Karen Romano Young collaborated with the Exploratorium to use art to share innovative uses for the origami-style portable microscope Foldscope, which has introduced the microcosmos to thousands of users worldwide, at very low cost. Karen brought enough Foldscope kits aboard the JOIDES Resolution for each scientist to make one to experiment with. In days to come she’s hoping to hear what they discover.
