Where else has the JR been this year?

Since the JR is currently on break from the fast pace of expedition life, it’s a great time to recall where the ship has been this year. But rather than just list out all the voyages of 2012, I thought it would be more fun to look at logos and to see if we can tell which each one depicts.

To start, do you know which expedition the logo below represents? Hint: The science team took samples of contourites which are shaped and altered by a particularly strong and salty bottom current that flows into the Atlantic Ocean.

You can also use this map of all completed expeditions for reference.
